• Grassland Softball is a recreational youth softball league with teams for girls from ages 5 through 13 and operates under the umbrella of the Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) department's county-wide youth softball leagues. 
  
  Practices (2 per week in pre-season and potentially 1 per week during the season) are held at Grassland Park on fields 1, 9B and at Cheek Park on fields B and C.  Games are generally played at Grassland Park or Cheek Park with travel to Brentwood and Franklin, but some games WILL be played at other parks.

  • June 15 - Registration Opens
  • July 24 - Registration Closes
  • July 27 - Coach Meetings (subject to change)
  • July 29 - Practices begin
  • TBD - Dick's Sporting Goods Fall weekend shop event (Cool Springs location)
  • August 26 - Games begin
  • TBA - GAA Day with the Nashville Sounds
  • October 7-11 - WCS Fall Break (no games)
  • Games will be played Monday through Thursday only during the fall season with the occasional Friday. There may also be some weekend games for teams that volunteer for them.

League Wide Rules 

Nights of Play - Teams will play their games as follows: 

     Mondays - 13U and 6u
     Tuesday - 8U and 10U A
     Thursdays - 10U B 
     Saturday - All age groups (Spring only)
     *** Wednesday will be the primary make up days for weekday rain outs.  Saturday rain outs will mostly         be played on Sundays. 
       *****NOTE:  Age groups may play on nights other than what is listed above******

League Formats

4u CO-ED (3 and 4 year old's)  Players may not turn 5 prior to May 1, 2025.  Please register under "BASEBALL" for this division.  Cost is $115.
 Our new 4u co-ed division is for players ages 3 and 4, and it's a very developmental league where children are first introduced to baseball/softball.  This is a tee ball only league.  While this is not an official bring-your-own-team league, efforts are made to honor as many parent requests as possible.  All players play in the field and bat each inning. 

6u (5 and 6 year old's) Players may not turn 7 prior to September 1, 2024 - Cost is $130
      
8u (7 and 8 year old's) Player may not turn 9 prior to September 1, 2024 - Cost is $180

10u - (9 and 10 year old's) Players may not turn 11 prior to September 1, 2024 - Cost is $185
         
13u - (11, 12 and 13 year old's) Players may not turn 14 prior to September 1, 2024 - Cost is $195

14u - GAA is not offering a 14u and older softball division
